Gaëlle Enganamouit with real name Gaëlle Deborah Enganamouit was born on June 9, 1992 in Yaounde, centre region of Cameroon.She is a former forward of the Cameroon Women’s National Team and Spanish club Malega CF.She Yaounde, Cameroon.

Club Career

Enganamouit began her club career in 2009 at Lorema Yaounde. She stayed with the club until 2012. In 2012, she joined the Serbian First League for Spartak Subotica, for whom she appeared in the UEFA Champions League.

In December 2013, Enganamouit announced her transfer to Swedish football, with newly promoted Damallsvenskan team Eskilstuna United.In November 2015, FC Rosengård signed Enganamouit to a two-year contract. Enganamouit was the 2015 Damallsvenskan top goal scorer with 18 goals as Eskilstuna finished second. 

In 2016, Enganamouit was nominated for the BBC Women’s footballer of the year award alongside Amandine Henry, Kim Little, Carli Lloyd and Becky Sauerbrunn.In February 2017, Dalian Quanjian F.C. officially signed Enganamouit.In 2018, she joined Avaldsness and played with the club until 2019 when she left for Malaga.

International Career

Until 2020, Enganamouit was a Striker of the Cameroon national team. She played at the 2012 Summer Olympics and appeared in each game as a substitute.She was part of the Cameroon Squad at the 2015 World Cup in Canada. She scored a hat-trick as Cameroon defeated Ecuador 6–0 at the competition. 

Her unnerving drive and powerful style at the competition earned her the name the “Freight Train” by fans.Enganamouit also played with Cameroon at the Female African Cup of Nations, though they didn’t lift the trophy.
