As an Artist, they’re Many ways you can make money on Tiktok with your songs. Today I’m going to share with you the easiest way to make money on Tiktok with your songs, beats,sounds, spoken words and podcasts as an Artist.
The steps you need to make money on Tiktok with music include
- Submitting your songs to Tiktok
- Making short Videos with the songs
- Cashing out.
1, Submitting songs to Tiktok: To make money with your songs on Tiktok, you need to first upload or submit your song to Tiktok.
Note that You are not going to use normal video and mp3 song to upload on Tiktok, You will not get paid for that one.
You have to submit your song’s using any music distributor, you can use Distrokid or tunecore to submit.

2, Making videos with your songs
After submitting your songs, you can now start using that song to make Viral videos on Tiktok. According to Reso luna, Tiktok pays you per video not per stream.
This means you have to do promotion by either launching challenges for many people to use your songs in their videos or keep dropping short videos with your songs.
Note that when you want to drop a video, you are going to use the sound you submitted via Music distributor like Disttrokid not the Songs you upload using Tiktok.
Also note again that When you upload your songs using Distrokid, the company will automatically upload the Songs to all streaming platforms including all social media channels like Facebook and Tiktok.
3, Cashing out: All your payment will be forwarded to your distributor, you can then cash out from there. Remember you’re not going to cash out via Tik Tok.
